All of us at the Barefoot Winery tend to think of our great wines as members of our family. Each wine exhibits unique characteristics and even a personality!
Our newest member of the family is Barefoot Sweet Red. It’s been getting lots of attention and we mean positive attention! Barefoot Sweet Red recently won “Best of Class” at the CA State Fair. It has also won the Platinum award at the 2011 Consume Wine Awards in Lodi, CA and Best in Class/Goal Medal at the 2011 Los Angeles International Wine Competition this year. Not bad for a wine that was first released only 11 months ago! Barefoot Sweet Red is a ripe and juicy wine with explosive flavors of raspberry, pomegranate and luscious cherry! It is a chillable red wine too, which is great in warmer weather! Whether you prefer it chilled, at room temperature or even mixed as a "winetail" or sangria, we promise it won't disappoint.
