Get Barefoot to Give Back!

We love getting barefoot at the beach, a barbeque or in our own backyard, but NOBODY should be barefoot because they don’t have shoes. That’s why we’ve partnered with Soles4Souls®, a not-for-profit organization distributing shoes to those in need.

Since 2006, they’ve donated millions of pairs of shoes across the world. We’re happy to get Barefoot by donating our shoes and helping their important work.

Local Love

Our passion is giving back and we believe that starts right in the local community.

That’s why every time we bring on a new Barefooter we ask them, “What are you passionate about?” Whatever their answer, we tell them to pursue it. Whether it’s getting involved in the local dog show or supporting the Arts in their neighborhood, we want them to go there, do good and share our Wine and Bubbly. When you’re doing what you love, it’s hard not to make a difference. Along with our bigger projects like Beach Rescue and Beach Volleyball, we’ve been lucky to be involved in tons of great initiatives right in your backyard…wherever that backyard happens to be. Getting our toes wet with our neighbors, friends and local communities is one of our favorite things to do and we can’t wait to see where our heart leads us next!

BAREFOOT WINE BEACH RESCUE PROJECT

Clean beaches and bare feet. Those are two of our favorite things.

So we decided, why not combine them into something good? Our perfect partner arrived in the Surfrider Foundation and we’ve been celebrating life with sand between our toes for more than 20 years now.

It’s hard to have fun in the sun when so many beaches are closed or posted as unhealthy. So in 2007, we created the Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project with the Surfrider Foundation. Our goal? To keep the world’s beaches “barefoot friendly.”

In the past eight years, we’ve held more than 115 cleanups. We’ve helped remove more than four tons of trash and hosted more than 10,000 volunteers. All while having a blast with some great people like you. It’s always important to celebrate a job well done and we make sure to toast after a big cleanup. So join in. Roll up your pant legs and take a stand in the sand.

LGBTQ

Out and proud. We’ve been celebrating with the LGBTQ community for more than 20 years. Everyone has the right to get Barefoot and have a great time. And we believe in doing that with whomever you want. In 1988, the first donation was made celebrating diversity to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Business Association. And the party just won’t stop! In 2009, we partnered with over 100 different LGBTQ local non-profits as well as national charities like GLAAD, CenterLink, InterPRIDE and GALA Chorus. We’ve toasted to same-sex marriage on top of a giant wedding cake. We’ve walked PRIDE festivals around the globe and danced with every kind of Foot Fan out there.

Beach Volleyball

What’s better than fun in the sun? Nothing. Unless that fun includes some beach volleyball. As well as making sure the sands are clean, we like to make sure our friends are out there enjoying them. We’ve been diving across sandy courts since 2006 and launched a brand new program in 2011 by teaming up with Championship Volleyball, the beach volleyball association in the US. We love bumping the ball with them and the fact that all levels of players get an opportunity to volley. Every player should get a chance to dive after their dream and we love to see amateurs get an opportunity to take on the pros through our Barefoot Wine Championship Volleyball ProAm Series. So throw your visor on to the court and join the barefoot fun. Come check out an event and bump, set, spike with us.
